The Quincy Crazy Quilters is celebrating its 15th anniversary this month. Members meet on the third Thursday each month at 6 p.m. at the Plumas Bank administrative building (behind Safeway). The group — and there are 25 members now — makes “cuddle quilts” that are donated to charities, foster children and hospice. They also provide the California Highway Patrol and sheriff’s department with quilts to carry in their vehicles to use as necessary. By the way, quilts are on display at the Quincy library.
