NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, Sept 12, 2012, at the hour of 6:15 pm in the East Quincy Services District office, Quincy California, for the purpose of establishing, by resolution, the appropriation limit for the 2012-2013 Fiscal year for the East Quincy Services District, as described in Article XIIIB of the State Constitution.  The proposed appropriation limit is $193,036, and the East Quincy Services District's 2012-2013 budgeted appropriations and provisions for reserves is the sum of $58,966.00.
The sum of $58,966.00 is subject to the appropriation limit.
At said hearing the East Quincy Services District will consider all comments by interested persons.

Bucks Campground Stewardship Advertisement
The Plumas National Forest is soliciting competitive offers for the Bucks Campground Stewardship project. The Bucks Campground Stewardship project is located within T.24N., R.7E., Sections 27, 28, 29, 32, 33 and 36; T.23N., R.7E., Sections 1, 4 and 9; T.24N., R.8E., Sections 7 and 18 MDBM. Sealed - "Best Value" offers will be received by Contracting Officer Elaine Gee at the Tahoe National Forest, 631 Coyote St. Nevada City, CA 95959 on 09/14/2012 at 09:00 AM local time, for an estimated 447.2 CCF of sawtimber and 233 CCF Green Biomass marked or otherwise designated for cutting on 36.8 acres and 9 stewardship projects. Stewardship projects are: fall and leave 16.48 CCF; fall and remove 70.41 CCF of cull hazard trees to offsite landing; remove cull portions of 69.2 CCF to offsite landing; remove fuels (downed logs) of 29.82 CCF to offsite landing; (optional) bonus of $2,000 for early completion; (optional) fall 137 CCF of hazard trees along National Forest System (NFS) road 24N33; (optional) fall 284 CCF of hazard trees along National Forest System (NFS) road 24N24; (optional) fall 232 CCF of hazard trees along National Forest System (NFS) road 24N34; (optional) fall 68 CCF of hazard trees along National Forest System (NFS) road 24N29Y. The Forest Service will evaluate competitive offers submitted by offerors who present a price offer and technical proposal according to the information found under the section in the offer titled "Instructions to Offerors." Evaluation factors for this project are organizational experience, organizational past performance, local community economic enhancement (including small business enhancement), understanding the Government's requirements, and price. One award will be made to the offeror whose proposal is technically acceptable and whose technical/price relationship is the "best value" to the Government.
