NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Zoning Administrator will hold a public hearing on the following matter on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, in the Conference Room of the Planning & Building Services Department, 555 Main Street, Quincy, California.
10:00 a.m. - Special Use Permit to Establish a Public Service Facility for the Peninsula Fire Protection District
This proposal would establish a business office for the Peninsula Fire Protection District within an existing residential structure located at 816 Golf Club Road, Lake Almanor; APN 102-411009. Some modifications are necessary in order for this building to be used as a business office. These improvements include ADA parking and a concrete access ramp. The facility will not be open to the public.
This project is exempt under CEQA Guidelines Section 15061 (b)(3) The activity is covered by the general rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment. Where it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the activity in question may have a significant effect on the environment, the activity is not subject to CEQA.
Notice is further given that said hearing is being held in accordance with Government Code Sections 65355 and 65856 and Plumas County Code Section 9-2.1152.
