The Poker Chips Fire Salvage Helicopter Sale is located within T26N, R6E, sections 2,23,25,26,36, T26N, R7E, sections 4-9,18,19,30, T27N, R7E, sections 22-25, T27N, R8E, sections 19-21, and 30, Mt Diablo Meridian. The Forest Service will receive sealed bids in public at Lassen National Forest Supervisors Office, 2550 Riverside Drive, Susanville, CA at 10:00 AM local time on 07/30/2013 for an estimated volume of 2512 MBF of Douglas Fir sawtimber, 297 MBF of Incense Cedar sawtimber, 545 MBF of Ponderosa Pine sawtimber, 1795 MBF of Sugar Pine sawtimber, and 1485 MBF of White Fir sawtimber marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is within the sale area an unestimated volume of Combined Softwood non-saw, Salvage Douglas Fir sawtimber, Salvage Incense Cedar sawtimber, Salvage Ponderosa Pine sawtimber, Salvage Sugar Pine sawtimber, and Salvage White Fir sawtimber that the bidder may agree to remove at a fixed rate. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below.
