With two final wins against Siskiyous and Lassen last week, the Feather River College volleyball team completed its regular season with a 10-0 record and won the Golden Valley Conference championship.
“It’s a very big deal,” said FRC coach Sarah Ritchie. “After taking second place three years straight, it was our time. Going undefeated makes it even more worthwhile. This is the first time ever.”

With a 53-21 victory over East Nicolaus in the first round of the Division IV playoffs last Friday night, the Quincy Trojans are looking exceptionally strong going into this Friday’s semifinal game against Modoc.
Quincy, seeded second, will host the third-seeded Modoc Braves, who are coming off a 38-12 playoff victory against Chester. Quincy and Modoc each sport 9-2 records.
