Cooper Jude Vaughn was born to Ashley and Rory Vaughn, of Reno, Nev., on July 20, 2012, at 11:12 a.m. at Renown Regional Hospital in Reno. Cooper weighed 6 pounds, 12 ounces and was 19-1/2 inches in length.

Maternal grandparents are Patty and Joe Wade, of Reno.

Paternal grandparents are Martha and Mark Vaughn, of Greenville.

Great-grandparents are Judy and Leon Vaughn, of Chico, and Audrey Vanderwegen, of Sacramento.

Cooper is also welcomed by sibling Bently Wyatt, 2.

Alissa Joann Martinez

Alissa Joann Martinez was born to Amanda Turner and Charles Martinez III, of Quincy, on July 24, 2012, at 8:59 a.m. at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy. Alissa weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Jim and Bonnie Barnes.

Paternal grandparents are Charles and Angela Martinez.

Alissa is also welcomed by sibling Nicole Turner, 4.

Jayden Manuel Garcia was born to Ana Magali Garcia and Jose Juan Garcia, of Portola, on July 16, 2012, at 8:06 a.m. at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy. Jayden weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Maria Del Carmen Avalos and Celia Garcia Medina.

Jayden is also welcomed by siblings Ruby Resendiz, 17, Eddie Resendiz, 16, Alvin Resendiz, 14, Jose Luis Garcia, 12, and Ismael Garcia, 8.

Aidyn Michael Ayotte was born to Jessica and Troy Ayotte, of Graeagle, on July 16, 2012, at 7:21 p.m. at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy. Aidyn weighed 8 pounds, 2 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Cathy Michael, of Canada, and Thom Michael Sr., of Quincy.

Paternal grandparents are Kerry and Teresa Bellamy, of Quincy; and Steve and Cindy Ayotte, of Mont Rose, Colo.

Great-grandparents are Glenn and Dora Michael, of Quincy, and Grace Ayotte, of Montana.

Aidyn is also welcomed by siblings William Ayotte, 9-1/2, Heather Ayotte, 8, and Troy “Bear” Ayotte, 3-1/2.

Ashton Alan Metz was born to Clover and Alan Metz, of Susanville, at 7:40 a.m. on July 17, 2012, at Banner Lassen Medical Center in Susanville.

He weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 21-1/2 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Kathy and Tom Williams, of Sloat.

Maternal great-grandparent is Norma Williams, of Cromberg.

Paternal grandparents are Gregg and Donna Buckley, of Meadow Valley.

Great-grandparents include Ade Bonne, of Livermore, Margie Prichard, of Ensenada, Mexico, and Janet Drury, of Manteca.

Laureli Anne Marchus was born to Kelsey and Eli Marchus, of Quincy, on July 3, 2012, at 6:56 a.m. at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy. Laureli weighed 7 pounds, 9 ounces.

Maternal grandparents are Tim and Shawndra West.

Paternal grandparents are Rick and Laura Marchus.

Hunter Scott Erickson was born to Christina Robbins and Bradley Erickson, of Chinquapin, N.C., on July 18, 2012, at 4:23 p.m. at the Naval Hospital, Camp Lejeune, N.C. Hunter weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces and was 20 inches in length.

Maternal grandparents are Robert and Inez Robbins, of Quincy. Paternal grandparents are Denise Erickson, of Montgomery, Ill., and Jeff Erickson, of Tampa, Fla.

Both parents are Navy corpsmen stationed at Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base where the Naval Hospital is located.

Paternal grandparents are Pattie and Gordon Hardgrave, of Quincy.
