After 11 years of retailing in downtown Portola, Sharon Weaver has decided to retire and close her store, Denim Blue, at the end of business June 22. This store has been a main fixture in the community and will undoubtedly be missed, but do take advantage of the closeout sale with myriad discounts up to 80 percent off. We wish Sharon and Bill happiness as they move into their active new lifestyle.

In addition to burgers, steaks, seafood and prime rib, they will regularly offer specials for both lunch and dinner. The couple are not new to the food business, having run this restaurant and the Paradise Grill for five years, in addition to running restaurants in Chico. Photo by Val Chisholm
