visitors guide deadline friday

It may only be February, but it’s already time to begin focusing our attention on tourism this summer in Plumas County and the impact it has on our local economy.

We agree with a host of local business people and community leaders that tourism this summer will be alive and well. Those visitors opting for more day trips, weekend jaunts and full-blown stay-vacations closer to home will bring a much needed and important infusion of dollars into our local economy.

The advertising deadline for the Plumas County Visitors Guide, a comprehensive full color magazine produced by us in partnership with the Plumas County Visitors Bureau, is this Friday, Feb. 18. If one of our advertising reps hasn’t called on you yet and you want to make sure to be included, call your local newspaper office.  We’re eager to design an effective ad tailored to both your budget and your business.

Your advertising investment and partnership makes it possible to produce these comprehensive and informative guides for our area. Help us help you capitalize on this opportunity by investing some of your hard-earned advertising dollars into the most effective products used to entice and inform families that are both coming to visit or living in this area.
