Dick Joy of Joy Construction in Portola was named Feather River Merchant of the Year at the 39th annual Plumas County Chamber of Commerce awards banquet and installation at a picnic held at Lake Almanor Country Club Saturday.
Rose Beavers of Westwood picked all the winning numbers in last Saturdays Lotto 6/49, winning $7 million. The ticket was purchased at Eastshore Spirits & Sports.
