36 CFR 215 Review and Comment Opportunity (EA) Opportunity to Comment on the Canyon Culverts Project located in the Plumas National Forest. Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) plan for replacing two culverts crossing railroad tracks due to failure on their Canyon Subdivision in the Plumas National Forest. The project involves installing new culverts and construction of staging areas to facilitate the replacement. The site locations are at MP 242.71 (Section 22 T22N,R4E) and MP 279.69 (Section15, T25N, R9E) in Plumas County.
The comment period is intended to provide those interested in or affected by this proposal an opportunity to make their concerns known prior to a decision. Those who provide comments in the proposal by the close of the comment period will be eligible to appeal the decision pursuant to 36 CFR part 215 regulations.
