Red Clover Poco Restoration Project

NOTICE is given that Negative Declaration #648 has determined that this project, Red Clover Poco Restoration Project, will not have a significant adverse effect on the environment if it is funded and implemented. This project is located entirely on National Forest lands in T24N, R13E, Sections 4, 5, 9 &10; and T25N, R13E, Sections 27, 32, 33 & 34 MDB&M; along Plumas County Road 111 (Genesee-Beckwourth Road). Based on public comment, additional analysis has been performed and reported in a revised CEQA document, which is proposed to be adopted and has been filed with the Planning Department. It is now available for inspection and review. The new CEQA review period for this Negative Declaration is from March 17, 2010 - May 7, 2010. Written comments concerning this CEQA document will be accepted through the last day of the review period. Comments should be directed to Jim Graham, Senior Planner / Plumas County Planning Department / 555 Main St / Quincy CA 95971, or 530-283-7011/ jimgraham@countyofplumas.com. The project is undergoing both CEQA and NEPA review, per requirements of the State of California, who would fund the project if the Beckwourth District Ranger decides to implement the project.
