A WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 AM PST FRIDAY FOR
SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW.

* TIMING: SNOW WILL INCREASE AGAIN LATER THIS MORNING AND BECOME
HEAVY AT TIMES THIS AFTERNOON. OCCASIONAL HEAVY SNOW SHOWERS
WILL CONTINUE TONIGHT BEFORE SNOW DECREASES FRIDAY MORNING.

* MAIN IMPACT: HEAVY SNOW WITH ADDITIONAL ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2
FEET OVER HIGHER MOUNTAIN PASSES. 6 TO 12 INCHES OF SNOW IS
EXPECTED ABOVE 5000 FEET...WITH SEVERAL INCHES POSSIBLE DOWN TO
3000 FEET.

* OTHER IMPACTS: STRONG SOUTH WIND GUSTS TO 45 MPH ARE POSSIBLE AND
MAY CREATE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AT THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS.

WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED. SIGNIFICANT AMOUNTS OF
SNOW ARE FORECAST THAT WILL MAKE TRAVEL HAZARDOUS. IF YOU MUST
TRAVEL...KEEP AN EXTRA FLASHLIGHT... FOOD...AND WATER IN YOUR
VEHICLE IN CASE OF AN EMERGENCY.
