Notice of Proposed Action

The District Ranger of the Mt. Hough Ranger District is seeking public input on reissuing and amending a Plan of Operation for placer mining. The Plan of Operation would allow the proponent to conduct mining activities on two adjacent mining claims located on National Forest system lands. Location of operation is west of Greenville, T26N, R9E, Section 4.

This plan would be valid for a period of one (1) year.

This comment period is intended to provide those interested or affected by this proposal an opportunity to make their concerns known prior to a decision being made by the Responsible Official. This decision is not subject to appeal.
