Guard/forward Justus Eaglesmith was named 2013-2014 Pioneer-Mountain League most valuable player. Greenville, which lost lead-scorer Walker Meyers to injury last season, relied upon the 5 foot, 9 inch freshman to finish as co-champions of the league.

Justus averaged 12.8 points and 10.8 rebounds each game. He also led the team in steals, assists, and blocked shots.

“Justus displayed remarkable leadership and floor presence. At times, it was difficult to remember he was only a freshman,” said Greenville coach Russ Crouch. “He is a dean’s-list student and a fine young gentleman off court, as well.”
