General plan public hearing set for Oct. 17
The Plumas County Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on the updated general plan Thursday, Oct. 17, at 10 a.m.
The hearing will be held in the Mineral Building at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds.
This hearing is a continuation of the public hearing that was held July 18.
The commission is scheduled to discuss the final environmental impact report for the updated general plan; a recommendation that the Board of Supervisors certify the report; consideration of changes to the general plan update; and a recommendation that the board approve the general plan update as amended.
The public will have a chance to comment during the hearing.
