NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held on Wednesday, Sept 12, 2012, at the hour of 6:15 pm in the East Quincy Services District office, Quincy California, for the purpose of establishing, by resolution, the appropriation limit for the 2012-2013 Fiscal year for the East Quincy Services District, as described in Article XIIIB of the State Constitution. The proposed appropriation limit is $193,036, and the East Quincy Services District's 2012-2013 budgeted appropriations and provisions for reserves is the sum of $58,966.00.
The sum of $58,966.00 is subject to the appropriation limit.
At said hearing the East Quincy Services District will consider all comments by interested persons.

Notice of Proposed Action - Wapaunsie Creek Watershed Improvement Project

Opportunity to Comment on the Wapaunsie Creek Watershed Improvement Project
The Mt. Hough Ranger District proposes to: decrease sedimentation in the Wapaunsie Creek watershed by stabilizing 0.5 miles of stream channel using native vegetation, erosion cloth, and large woody debris; and to provide authorized vehicle access to the north shore of Snake Lake by officially adding 0.54 miles of existing route to the National Forest System (NFS). This is not a pond and plug project-stream flow and timing will not be altered. The project is located in section 32 of T25N, R9E; and section 12 of T24N, R8E, MDBM. A draft Decision Memo detailing the proposal is available for review at the Mt. Hough Ranger District office. This comment period is being provided pursuant to the March 19, 2012 order issued by the U. S. District Court for the Eastern District of California in Case No. CV F11-679LJO DLB.
