Carter William Nelson-Clift was born to Katharine Clift ,of Quincy, and Bruce Nelson Jr., of Fremont, Aug. 18, 2012, at 2:26 a.m. at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy.
Carter weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce.
Maternal grandparents are Rick and Sue Clift, of Quincy.
Paternal grandparents are Bruce and JoAnn Nelson Sr., of Fremont.
Great-grandmother is Ruth Jean Cooperrider, of Fremont.
Shaina Marie Masters was born to Neil Masters and Ashley Mendez, of Meadow Valley, June 29, 2012, at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy.
The baby was born at 12:03 p.m. and weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces.
Maternal grandparents are Lisa and John Csicsery, of Lake Havasu, and Joe Mendez, of Anaheim.
Paternal grandparents are Cynthia Beem and Michael Humphrey, of Fernley, Nev., and Pete and Tammy Masters, of Quincy.
Great-grandparents include Carol Simpson, of Graceville, Minn., and Neil Masters, of Cottonwood.
Shaina is also welcomed by sibling Rio Masters, 15 months old.
