H1N1 Flu Vaccination Clinic
11/19/2009
Plumas District Hospital will hold the first of two H1N1 (swine) flu vaccination clinics on Tuesday, November 24, announced PDH Pharmacist Dr. Rick Foster. The clinic will take place from 10 am – 2 pm in the Quincy Family Medical Building on Bucks Lake Road next to the hospital. An administration fee of $15, payable by cash or check, is due at the time of the clinic.
“Plumas District Hospital is making their supply of the H1N1 (swine) flu vaccine, available to the general population. We especially encourage the following groups to consider being vaccinated: pregnant women, people who live with or care for children under 6 months of age, children 6 months to 4 years of age, health care and emergency medical services workers, and people ages 5 years through 64 years who have chronic medical conditions”, says Dr. Foster.
A second H1N1 (swine) flu vaccination clinic is scheduled for Thursday, December 3, from 9 am to 4 pm in the Quincy Family Medical Building. For more information on upcoming clinics, H1N1 and preventions tips, visit www.pdh.org/hospital_newsandevents.
