Tree removal approval

Notice of Finding of No Significant Impact

The Federal Aviation Administration has announced that a "Finding Of No Significant Impact" (FONSI) has been approved based upon results of a Final Environmental Assessment prepared in September 2010 for proposed removal of 7.5 acres of trees on adjacent Pacific Gas and Electric property next to Rogers Field, Chester, Plumas County, California.

The following projects are addressed by the FONSI:

Removal of 7.5 acre of trees on adjacent Pacific Gas and Electric Property next to the Rogers Field Airport.

The FONSI indicates that the proposed action is consistent with existing environmental policies and objectives as set forth in the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 in that it will not significantly affect the quality of the human environment.
