This year’s Railroad Days is dedicated to the people of Plumas County; it is a time to celebrate friends and neighbors, and the natural beauty of the area. The 30th annual community parade is a keystone event.
Parade categories:
Floats — think Plumas County, think railroad, think fun! Dress up a car, trailer or truck and show your creative side with a hometown float.
Motorized vehicles — cars, motorcycles, trucks.
Non-motorized vehicles — bikes, trikes, wagons — ride it, pull it or push it for fun.
Public service — fire trucks, ambulances, emergency vehicles.
Horses — fancy, cowboys, buggies.
Music — The high school doesn’t have a marching band, but talented musicians can play from the back of a truck
Don’t have a float, car, bike or horse? Organize a group and bring a banner or flags, and maybe some music, and march for the fun of being in a parade.
