Creating a private hunting ranch
Question: I’ve been toying with the idea of opening a private hunting ranch and importing animals (mostly pigs) for the ranch. I’d like to research the licensing and regulations. Are there both state and federal regulations? Since the animals will undoubtedly come from out of state, what other agencies (state or federal) would I need to consult?

Day length is getting shorter by nearly two minutes a day. High temperatures are on the decline.
Fall is just around the corner.

The Greenville High School volleyball team captured two big wins last week against formidable Chester and Quincy teams, showing that the smallest school in the county can take down its considerably larger counterparts.
Greenville coach Lauren Allen said her team had a rough start to its season, but that only inspired her players to work even harder.

One of the reasons we enjoy such excellent fishery resources is that we have dedicated volunteers who contribute their time and energy to help protect and enhance our fishery resources.
The Feather River Chapter of Trout Unlimited is one such organization. They have some upcoming events that you can get involved in.
The Great Sierra River Cleanup is a weekend event that brings volunteers from schools and organizations from throughout the region together to make a huge difference by cleaning up local waterways.
