PG&E is reporting a power outage in the Chester/Lake Almanor area. The outage effects 1,678 customers. The outage was caused by an interruption to a main transmission lines or substations causing widespread outage. Repair crews are on the site and estimate that power will be restored around 2:00 p.m. today.
