NEW VETERINARIAN JOINS STAFF
Dr. Suzanne Elkjer has joined the staff at Indian Valley Veterinary Clinic in Crescent Mills. Dr. Elkjer spent her summers assisting Dr. Doyle Rolston at his clinic while attending Feather River College. She went on to earn her degree from the School of Veterinary Medicine at U.C. Davis. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER
Plumas Bank announced that Cassandra Cockrell has been hired as a business development officer. She will be responsible for developing business banking relationships in Susanville and Quincy. A California native, Cassandra was raised in Cedarville. She graduated suma cum laude from California State University, Chico with a bachelor of science degree in ag business with minors in business administration and animal science. Cockrell belongs to the Modoc County Cattlewomen Association and enjoys fishing, hunting and picture framing in her spare time.
RV PARK EARNS SPECIAL RATING
Pioneer RV Park, just off Fairgrounds Road past Pioneer Park in Quincy, was recently re-rated by a representative from the Trailer Life Directory that now places the facility in the top 10 percent of like properties in the country. The rating is based on appearance, cleanliness, facilities and amenities. During their eight years of ownership, John and Sandi Johnson have worked very hard at the park to earn this coveted distinction.
