Triptyn James Pierson was born to Kristy and Justin Pierson, of Portola, on May 26, 2011, at 2:37 a.m. at Plumas District Hospital in Quincy. Triptyn weighed 7 pounds.
Maternal grandparents are Linda and Curtis Marshal, of Portola.
Paternal grandparents are Carolyne Friegani and Ken Pierson, of Portola.
Great-grandparents are Linda Brownlee, of Quincy, and Nancy and Fred Pierson, of Chico.
Triptyn is also welcomed by sibling Emmaly Jayne Pierson, 5.
