A convicted burglar who failed to show up for a jury’s guilty verdict in November is on the loose.

Former Graeagle resident Rebecca Victoria Loretz, 38, faces up to eight years in prison when she is caught. A warrant has been issued for her arrest.

According to authorities, Loretz failed to check into a Reno hospital for psychiatric evaluation after being released Nov. 11 from Renown Regional Medical Center.

It’s unknown how she escaped from custody.

Loretz was hospitalized Nov. 2 after attempting suicide on the day her six-day trial in Plumas County Superior Court concluded with the jury’s verdict.

If and when she is apprehended, Loretz faces extradition to Plumas County for sentencing.

She was found guilty on two “serious felony” counts of residential burglary, two felony counts of receiving stolen property and one misdemeanor count of falsely reporting a crime.

Loretz was convicted of burglarizing the Graeagle home of her father, Art Wolf, in 2009. She was also convicted of stealing about $50,000 worth of items from a home she was renting.

Her husband, Martin Loretz, pleaded guilty to one felony count of first-degree burglary Nov. 10.

She stands out like a sore thumb...or an uglier Kardashian...can't miss her. I'm sure she's not far from a tanning salon
