12/2/2011 - 3:30 p.m. Update - PG&E reports that power has been restored to all areas in Northern California.

12/2/2011 - 6:00 a.m. - The Northstate has been spared the extensive power outages experienced in Southern California, but we have not esccaped entirely.  Many Plumas and Lassen County residents are still without power this morning and its being blamed on this wind. PG&E reports 380 outages total in the Northstate. 229 of them are in Plumas County near Bucks Lake and Quincy. 125 of them are in the Mineral/Mill Creek area east of Red Bluff. The rest of them are single customers without power.

The power outages were caused by high winds and are expected to be repaired by later this afternoon.

The high winds are expected to diminish somewhat today.
