Moderate earthquake rattles Almanor Basin

The USGS earthquake site reports a minor, Magnitude 3.1 shaker in the basin early this morning (shortly after 1 am).
The reported epicenter is on the east shore area, a bit uphill (east) of  Hwy 147, and basically due east of the tip of the peninsula.  See:  http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqscanv/FaultMaps/121-40.html
