Potential interim Veterans Service Officer decides to opt out

County Administrative Officer Jack Ingstad said Nov. 29 that Richard Turner has decided not to return as Veterans Service Officer for Plumas County.

Turner was originally set to fill the position on an interim basis following the departure of Sheryl Austin. Ingstad said he was working on an arrangement with another candidate.
