  • New leader: After nearly three decades, the Plumas County Mental Health Commission has a new leader. Supervisor Kevin Goss was named to replace Hank Eisenmann.
  • Home away from home: As of last week, new homes had been found for all of the patients at Quincy Nursing & Rehabilitation and most had already moved.

Breaking News: Wednesday afternoon structure fire in Blairsden

9:30 a.m. A fire Wednesday, Feb. 17, in Blairsden duplex near Bonta Street has displaced two women and a 14 month old infant.  They had reportedly moved into the house recently.  No injuries have been reported.  See next weeks paper for more details.
