A July 21 altercation at the Evergreen Market in Greenville left one man hospitalized and the other jailed on a felony assault charge.

Dennie Wright, 62, was flown to Enloe Medical Center in Chico with serious injuries after allegedly being assaulted by co-worker George Gerald Catlett, 46. Both men are Greenville residents and work at the market.

According to an Enloe spokesperson, Wright’s condition was listed as “good” Thursday, July 24.

According to the Plumas County District Attorney’s Office, Catlett was arrested and charged with “assault with force likely to commit great bodily injury.”

He is scheduled to appear in Plumas County Superior Court for a pretrial conference Friday.

If convicted, Catlett faces a maximum sentence of seven years in prison.

He is being held at the Plumas County jail on $55,000 bail.
