Hundreds of "extras" needed for special filming Friday night at Town Hall Theatre

Plumas Arts is producing a video about the Town Hall Theatre for the "Save Our Theatre—Go Digital" funding campaign so that they can spread the word near and far.

And they need hundreds of people to help.

They are filming a scene mimicking a crowd that formed at the theatre for the 1936 re-opening (when it was rebuilt after the fire). So they will need lots of people to fill the sidewalk.

Residents are invited to be at the Town Hall Theatre on Friday, June 20, at 6 p.m. where they will film a cheering crowd asking for help to "Save Our Theatre!"

They will need people for about 15 to 20 minutes. People who show up will receive $1 off the price of a movie ticket that night to see Godzilla or a small popcorn.

Residents are asked to spread the word to make the filming a success.
