Chips Fire evacuations expanded to Prattville

The Plumas County Sheriff's Department has upgraded the evacuation notice for the Chips Fire.  Prattville is now under mandatory evacuation.  A Voluntary Evacuation is in place for Almanor. An Advisory is in effect to all West Almanor and East Shore residents (Hwy. 147) advising of the potential threat of the fire to the areas.

The U.S. Forest Service management team should be replaced by CalFire and the other agencies who want and know how to put out a fire. What I am told by those who know this fire should never reached the damage done to so many. The USFS has told others "none of your business".
