Logue to host townhall meeting with CHP in Graeagle
North State Assemblyman Dan Logue is hosting a townhall meeting with northern divisional leadership from the California Highway Patrol. The meeting, which is open to the public, will be held Oct. 22, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Graeagle Fire Hall, 7620 Highway 89.
An open meeting between the public and CHP was requested after Logue held private meetings with community leaders and CHP representatives regarding concerns Logue’s office had received from constituents in Plumas County.
“It is very important to me that people in Plumas County feel safe and protected by their local law enforcement agencies,” said Logue. “Holding a townhall meeting will let everyone who wants to comment on this matter do so. I want to hear from everyone, with comments both positive and negative about the CHP so that we can make efforts to enhance our public safety.
“This is a chance for everyone to respectfully say what is on their mind,” said Logue, “We will be there to listen and make sure that we are all working to better serve our communities.”
Logue represents the 3rd District in the California Legislature, which includes the communities of Butte, Lassen, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sierra and Yuba.
