Hough Ranger District is seeking public input on issuing a Plan of Operations for placer mining exploration. The Plan of Operations would allow Advanced Geologic Exploration and claim owner Michael Burke to conduct exploratory placer mining activities on mining claims located on National Forest system lands. Test pits would be constructed with a backhoe and samples processed through a portable trommel. Location of proposed exploration is Little Grizzly Creek, T24N, R11E, Sections 2 and 35, MDBM.
