.STRONG SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT
THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING. AHEAD OF THE FRONT...HUMIDITY WILL
DROP BELOW TEN PERCENT. AS THE FRONT APPROACHES...SOUTHWEST WINDS
OF 15 TO 25 MPH AND GUSTS TO 35 MPH ARE EXPECTED. THE COMBINATION
OF STRONG WINDS AND VERY DRY AIR WILL CREATE CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS THURSDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING.

GUSTY WINDS AND LOW HUMIDITY FOR FIRE ZONES 214 AND 268. ..

WARNING...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM TO 9 PM PDT THURSDAY.
* AFFECTED AREA: IN CALIFORNIA...FIRE ZONE 214 BURNEY BASIN AND
NORTHEAST PLATEAU IN SHASTA COUNTY INCLUDING NORTHWEST LASSEN
NF NORTH OF LASSEN NP...FIRE ZONE 268 NORTHERN SIERRA
INCLUDING LASSEN NP AND PLUMAS AND LASSEN NF/S WEST OF THE
SIERRA CREST (WEST OF EVANS PEAK-GRIZZLY PEAK-BECKWORTH PEAK).
* WIND:SOUTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH.
* HUMIDITY: DROPPING BELOW TEN PERCENT.
* IMPACTS:THE COMBINATION OF GUSTY WINDS...LOW HUMIDITY AND VERY
DRY FUELS WILL CREATE CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS.
A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS
