Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Hamilton Branch Fire Protection District has adopted a Preliminary Budget for (1) Salaries and Benefits, (2) Services and Supplies, and (3) Fixed Assets, for the Fiscal Year 2010/2011, which the Preliminary budget can be reviewed during week days at the Fire Station, 3791 Big Springs Road, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 .m., and that said Board of Directors of said District will meet at the Fire Station on June 9, 2010 at the hour of 4:00 p.m. for the purpose of fixing the Final Budget for said Hamilton Branch Fire Protection District at which time and place any taxpayer may appear and be heard regarding the increase, decrease or omission of any item of the Budget, or for inclusion of additional items.

Timber Harvest Plan

Domestic Water Supplies
A Timber Harvest Plan (THP) will be submitted to CAL Fire. The THP is located approximately 8 miles south of Chester, CA in Plumas County. The proposed THP is located in section 16 and 21, Township 27 North, Range 07 East; section 05, Township 26 North, Range 7 East, Mount Diablo Base Meridian. This notice is to request information about surface domestic water supplies from Class I, II III & IV watercourses that receive drainage from the THP area and are within 1,000 feel of the THP boundary. The watercourses that may be affected are Butt Creek and Humbug Creek and their associated unnamed tributaries. lf you have any information  about surface domestic water supplies from this watercourse or tributaries, please contact (within 10 days of publication of this notice): Joseph C. Any response will be submitted with the THP to CAL Fire for review. If any surface domestic supplies are noted, the THP shall contain mitigation measures necessary to protect the water supply.

Notice of Decision:  BSA Telephone Line Special Use Permit
On May 11, 2010, John Exline, Acting Forest Supervisor for the Lassen National Forest signed a Decision Memo authorizing the issuance of a twenty (20) year Special Use Permit for the use of an existing telephone line located on National Forest System lands, to provide emergency communications to Camp Fleischmann Boy Scout Camp.  
The project consists of approximately 0.5 miles of existing telephone line located at T. 29 N., R. 6 E., sections 9, 10, MDM. This line takes off from the main telephone line located along County Road 312 (Warner Valley Road) and travels cross country to the Boy Scout Camp. The current Special Use Authorization has no established termination date. There will be no ground disturbing activities associated with the new permit issuance.

Timber harvest plan
REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ON DOMESTIC WATER SUPPLIES
Collins Pine Company is preparing a timber harvest plan (THP) adjacent to the community of Canyon Dam, California. This plan includes approximately 1,202 acres in the following location: Portions of Sections 14, 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27 Township 27 North, Range 8 East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian. The main watercourse adjacent to the THP is Sheep Camp Creek. As required by Title 14 of California Code of Regulations, Section 1032.10, all landowners within 1,000 feet downstream of a proposed THP, whose ownership adjoins or includes Class I, II and IV watercourse(s) which receives surface drainage from the proposed timber operation must be contacted requesting information on surface domestic water use. Any responses should be sent within 10 days of publication to:
