Special Use Permit Issuances
Forest Supervisor Alice B. Carlton, Plumas National Forest, is considering issuance of new Special Use authorizations for continued use of existing facilities on National Forest System lands on the Feather River Ranger District. The proposals being considered are for Mr. John Rickman for an access road to private property; Frazier Creek Water Association for a water line; Plumas County Department of Public Works for a storage yard and mixing circle; La Porte Pines Country Club for a water system; Mr. Loren Perkins for a water line; California Department of Water Resources for several water monitoring sites; Okizu Foundation for a water line; Yuba County Rural Fire Joint Powers Agency for an access road to communication facilities on private property; and South Feather Water and Power Agency for continued operations at the Sly Creek Recreation Area.  If you have any questions or concerns regarding these proposed activities, please contact Linda Braxton, Assistant Resource Officer, Feather River Ranger District, at (530) 534-6500 or electronically at Comments should be received within 2 weeks following newspaper publication.
