State Route 70 in Plumas County near Storrie... Big rig cleared
Roadway open with R-1 chain restriction
R-1: Chains are required on all commercial vehicles (trucks or buses). All
other vehicles (cars, pick-ups, vans, etc.) must have either snow tread
tires or chains on the drive axle.

SR 70 [IN THE NORTHERN CALIFORNIA AREA] IS CLOSED 2 MI EAST OF THE BUTTE/PLUMAS CO LINE - DUE TO AN ACCIDENT - MOTORISTS ARE ADVISED TO USE AN ALTERNATE ROUTE

CHAINS OR SNOW TIRES ARE REQUIRED FROM 6 MI WEST OF BELDEN TO QUINCY (PLUMAS CO)

CHAINS ARE REQUIRED ON ALL VEHICLES EXCEPT 4-WHEEL-DRIVE VEHICLES WITH SNOW TIRES ON ALL 4 WHEELS FROM 7 MI EAST OF QUINCY TO BLAIRSDEN (PLUMAS CO) /LEE SUMMIT/

CHAINS OR SNOW TIRES ARE REQUIRED FROM PORTOLA TO BECKWOURTH (PLUMAS CO)

TRACTOR-SEMITRAILER COMBINATIONS OVER 65 FEET & ALL TRACTOR-SEMITRAILER COMBINATIONS /DOUBLES/ OVER 75 FEET IN TOTAL LENGTH ARE PROHIBITED FROM 13 MI EAST OF THE JCT OF SR 191 TO THE NORTH JCT OF SR 89 /GREENVILLE WYE/ (PLUMAS CO) - ALTERNATE ROUTES ARE AVAILABLE
