Am PST Tuesday For The West Slopes Of The Northern Sierra
Nevada...Western Plumas County And The Lassen Park Area.
• Timing: Snow Will Increase Today Becoming Heavy At Times.

• Main Impact: Snow Accumulations Of 1 To 2 Feet Possible Over The
Higher Terrain With 6 To 12 Inches Above 4500 To 5500 Feet By
Tuesday Morning.

• Other Impacts: Local South Wind Gusts To 40 Mph Over Higher
Terrain Will Lead To Areas Of Blowing And Drifting Snow At Times
Near The Passes.

Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

A Winter Storm Warning For Heavy Snow Means Severe Winter Weather
Conditions Are Expected. Significant Amounts Of Snow Are Forecast
That Will Make Travel Difficult.
