Power outages are reported throughout Plumas and Lassen Counties. Power has been restored in Susanville but is reported to be out in Quincy, Chester, Indian Valley, and the east and west shores of Lake Almanor.
3:20 update: The power has been restored in Quincy.
Power has been out in Quincy since approximately 11:00 and is expected to take at least 4 hours to restore.
PG&E has a power outage map which can be viewed by clicking the link below. There are many hundreds of outages state wide and PG&E is having trouble not just fixing the downed power lines but also keeping up listing the outages on their map. (The Quincy outage is still not listed.)
Lassen Municipal Utility District and Plumas Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative will be updated on this page as information becomes available. A spokesperson from Plumas Sierra Rural Electric Cooperative says there are no outages at this time and if members are experiencing any outages they are asked to call the Cooperative.
