Notice of Public Hearing
The Zoning Administrator will hold a public hearing on the following matter on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 in the Plumas County Permit Center Conference Room, 555 Main Street, Quincy, CA. 10:00 a.m. Final Environmental Impact Report Number 83 and Planned Development Permit Feather River Inn Master Plan project. The Schomac Group, Inc., applicant. Environmental Impact Report Number 83 is proposed to be certified at this hearing. The Plumas County Zoning Administrator will review and consider the Environmental Impact Report, comments received, and the responses to those comments. If the Zoning Administrator finds that the Final Environmental Impact Report provides an adequate and complete analysis of the environmental impacts associated with the project, the Zoning Administrator may certify the Final Environmental Impact Report at this hearing. Upon review and consideration of the Final Environmental Impact Report, the Zoning Administrator may take action to approve, conditionally approve or reject the Planned Development Permit (File Number PD 3-07/08-04). A noticed public hearing will be held before the Plumas County Board of Supervisors on the General Plan Amendment and Zone Change for the Feather River Inn Master Plan project at a later date. Public Resources Code Section 21081.6(a) requires lead agencies to adopt a reporting and mitigation monitoring program to describe mitigation measures which have been adopted or made a condition of project approval in order to mitigate or avoid significant effects on the environment. Throughout the Environmental Impact Report, mitigation measures have been clearly identified and presented in language that will facilitate establishment of a monitoring and reporting program.
