Notice of Proposed Action - Baiocchi's Troutfitter Fishing Guide Service

Opportunity to Comment on Baiocchi's Troutfitter Fishing Guide Service
The Beckwourth Ranger District is reviewing an application to re-issue a ten-year Special Use Permit to Baiocchi Troutfitter to provide a full service fly fishing guide service teaching the finer points of public access techniques, fly fishing equipment, aquatic insects and local flora and fauna. Mr. Baiocchi has guided trips through a Special Use Pemit with the Plumas National Forest since 2002.
John Baiocchi's proposal on the Plumas National Forest includes guiding trips on Lake Davis, Frenchman's Reservoir, the Middle Fork of the Feather River (recreation portion),  Jamison Creek and Lake Almanor. The Project Initiation Letter detailing the proposed project is available for review at the Beckwourth District Office. This comment period is being provided pursuant to the March 19, 2012, order issued by the U. S. District Court for the Eastern District of California in Case No. CV F11-679LJO DLB.  Only those who provide comments during this comment period will be eligible to appeal the decision pursuant to 36 CFR part 215 regulations. In addition, each individual or representative from each organization submitting comments must either sign the comments or verify identity upon request.
