Board vacancy

This notice is to announce a vacancy has occurred on the following board: PENINSULA FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, to fill the vacancy of RUSSELL GREENLAW whose term ends on: November 30, 2017.
The remaining Peninsula Fire Protection District board members plan to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Russell Greenlaw. The appointed individual will hold office until the next Uniform District Election.
In compliance with the Maddy Appointive Registry Act, this appointment can be made on November 20, 2013, or thereafter.

REQUEST FOR INFORMATION ON DOMESTIC WATER SUPPLIES
Collins Pine Company is preparing a Timber Harvest Plan (THP) approximately 4 miles southwest of Chester, California. This plan includes approximately 2,900 acres in the following location: Portions of Sections 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9 and 17, Township 27 North, Range 6 East, and Portions of Sections 26, 27, 33, 34 and 35, Township 28 North, Range 6 East Mount Diablo Base and Meridian. The main watercourses included in the THP are Soldier Creek and an unnamed Class I tributary to Soldier Creek. The unnamed Class I tributary runs through the portion of the THP that is located to the southwest of Soldier Meadows. As required by Title 14 of California Code of Regulations, Section 1032.10, all landowners within 1,000 feet downstream of a proposed THP, whose ownership adjoins or includes Class I, II and IV watercourse(s) which receives surface drainage from the proposed timber operation must be contacted requesting information on surface domestic water use. Any responses should be sent within 10 days of publication to:
