Quincy High School Boosters are gearing up for the school year with their annual Cow Plop Drop fundraiser this year at the Plumas/Sierra County Fair.
The Cow Plop Drop will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, at the fairgrounds.
For those not familiar with the local fundraiser, it works like this: A grid is painted inside a corral for the number of tickets sold. Then a steer is put inside the corral and whichever square the cow “drops its plop” in, is the winner of $500.
Tickets are available for $5 each or five tickets for $20 at Quincy Natural Foods, Carey Candy Co., and Great Northern Hair Co.
Come on out and help support Quincy High School students and buy your Cow Plop Drop ticket today.
Quincy High School Boosters supports academics, arts, and athletics, as well as providing four scholarships annually for graduating students. The boosters also sponsor Sober Grad Night.
