NOTICE OF APOLOGY
The Graeagle Fire Protection District has published in a Public Notice their acceptance of construction bids for the construction of Station 2 in the last two weeks, ending the 12th of July at 12 noon. It has been brought to our attention in the Plumas County Building Permit Issued List, that the GFPD has a contractor for this project. This is a misunderstanding and error on our part in acquiring the Building Permit. The contract HAS NOT BEEN AWARDED at this time.
Please accept our apology for this misunderstanding and note that the Graeagle Fire Protection District is still accepting construction bids per the two notices published in the paper. The Bid opening is scheduled on July 12th at 12 noon after the close of Bid acceptance.

A PETITION FOR PROBATE has been filed by: Andrew D. Smith in the Superior Court of California, County of Plumas.
THE PETITION FOR PROBATE requests that: Andrew D. Smith be appointed as personal representative to administer the estate of the decedent.

The Graeagle Fire Protection District, on June 20, 2013, adopted a preliminary budget; the budget may be viewed at the GFPD station located at 7620 Highway 89, Graeagle, CA on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 9 a.m. and 12 noon. The GFPD Board of Directors will meet on August 15, 2013 to adopt the final budget; any person may appear at that meeting to be heard regarding any item on the budget or additions to the budget.

City utility billing ordinance
ORDINANCE NO. 340
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PORTOLA, COUNTY OF PLUMAS, AMENDING, ADDING AND DELETING CERTAIN SECTIONS OF THE PORTOLA MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO UTILITY BILLING
Ordinance No. 340 was introduced by the City Council of the City of Portola at a regular meeting held on June 26, 2013. The Ordinance is scheduled for adoption on July 10, 2013.
The ordinance makes revisions to the City's utility billing regulations.
A copy of the Ordinance is available for review in the City Clerk's office at 35 Third Avenue, Portola, California.
