The first farmers market of the season will take place Thursday, June 20, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on the lawn at Church and Main streets in Quincy.
This is the market’s 14th year of providing fresh produce, delicious hot food, local arts and crafts and high-quality live music. Thursday’s entertainment will be the ever-popular Fish Tacos. A complete lineup is available on the Quincy Certified Farmers’ Market website: quincyfarmersmarket.org.
Each purchase an attendee makes from a market vendor puts him or her in the drawing for a nightly prize giveaway. The first prize will be a copy of “Sunset Western Gardens,” generously donated by Epilog Books.
The market has also expanded informational booths. Look for the “Community Resource Booth,” a place for local organizations to provide resources and skills to strengthen the community.
Contact market manager Hannah Hepner for more details.
