The 13th annual Horses Unlimited Inc. Charity Golf Tournament, started by the late Jody Lindroth, will be held Saturday, May 18, at Plumas Pines Golf Resort in Blairsden.
Registration begins at 11 a.m. and the shotgun start will take place at noon.
There will be two flights, each with its own format. Flight No. 1 will be a four-person team scramble, and Flight No. 2 will be a four-person team playing low net best balls.
Partial teams and singles are welcome and will be matched up by Plumas Pines. The event is limited to the first 80 players. Golfers are encouraged to register by May 13.
The tax-deductible entry fee is $100 per person and includes green fee, cart and one ticket to Longboard Bar & Grill’s after-golf appetizer buffet. Non-golfers can buy buffet tickets for $15.
There will be a no-host bar and prize drawings.
Enter by May 13 in order to receive a free bucket of range balls for practice.
A $10,000 cash prize will be awarded for a hole-in-one, to be divided equally between the player and Horses Unlimited.
There will also be $750, $500 and $250 hole-in-one gift certificates awarded for specified tees.
