Fair-cleanup

Calpine’s Treasure Mountain 4-H kids and parents are hard at work raking leaves at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds in Quincy on April 6. The “mother of all workdays” was attended by a couple hundred volunteers who raked, cleaned, scraped, painted, pruned, bulldozed, hammered, reroofed and performed dozens of other tasks to clean up the county fairgrounds. They were rewarded for their efforts with a tasty lunch.Photos by Laura Beaton
