Public invited to campus forum for FRC superintendent/president finalists

  Feather River College is in the final stages of hiring a permanent superintendent/ president.

  Four finalist candidates will be interviewed tomorrow and Friday at LRC 105, the Gallery, on campus. Following each interview, the candidate will be available at a community forum to which the public is invited.

  The following is a brief summary of the candidates and their experience, provided by the FRC search committee.

  Jeff Cummings has 25 years’ experience with the California Community College system, including CSEA management, associate faculty and full-time faculty, curriculum committee chair, dean of CTE, interim VP of instruction and interim VP of student learning. He is currently Career and Technical Education Dean at College of the Redwoods.

  Ronald Rosati has 31 years’ experience, is the provost for Southeast Missouri State University and was previously the provost for Alfred State College in New York. Dr. Rosati was also the dean of agriculture, natural resources and human sciences at Texas A&M University and a professor of agricultural engineering technology at Illinois State University.

  Anthony Tricoli has more than 33 years’ experience in community college leadership positions, including faculty, director of community education, assistant to VP of academic and student affairs, dean of instruction, associate vice chancellor of student learning and college president in California and Georgia. Tricoli formerly held the post of president of Georgia Perimeter College, Atlanta, in 2012.

  Kevin Trutna has 23 years’ experience in higher education and has been both a part-time and full-time faculty member; program director; grant writer; dean of mathematics, engineering, science and health occupations at Arizona Western College; VP for academic and student services; and acting and interim president at Yuba Community College District and FRC.

  All campus forums will be held in the Gallery (LRC 105).

  Thursday, Jan. 17, 11:50 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Jeff Cummings.

  Thursday, Jan. 17, 2:30 – 3:10 p.m., Ronald Rosati.

  Friday, Jan. 18, 12:20 – 1 p.m., Anthony Tricoli.

  Friday, Jan. 18, 3:20 – 4 p.m., Kevin Trutna.
