The Feather River College women’s basketball team traveled to Delta College on Dec. 17-19 to play two games back-to-back. FRC fell 48-40 to Merced in the first game, and then lost 63-56 to Modesto to drop its record to 5-8 for the season.
“We played well, though,” said FRC’s coach Haley White. “We are continually getting better and more prepared for conference play.”
Alexis Johnson averaged 19 points and 10 rebounds per game at the Delta tournament. Jasmine Plumber was the floor leader who played the entire extent of both games. Plumber averaged 10 points, four assists and four steals at the tournament.
FRC hosts Sacramento City College on Dec. 29 at 2 p.m. This will be the first home game of the season for FRC.
